Students, staff and family bring more than their dedication to helping students with learning disorders to Tutor Time. Differences in terms of ability, economics, race, ethnicity, religion, gender and sexual orientation enrich our school community and the educational experience of our students.

Tutor Time is committed to celebrating all people and ensuring that everyone in our community feels welcome. This commitment begins in the classroom and extends throughout the school community through our extracurricular programs  and staff professional developments.

Our students learn differently, and therefore our teachers teach differently- This allows our student to have equal access to our curriculum and intervention resources. Teaching our students to become successful members of society is what our school standards is built upon. To succeed at this endeavor, we incorporate multicultural practices and opinions into our curriculum- promoting awareness of identity, equity, and inclusion across all academic levels and throughout the community. While learning to interact with and respect all individuals and cultural groups, students develop a rich sense of self and the ability to understand and analyze their own culture. We believe this philosophy positively impacts the school culture as a whole
